Youthful, feminine, fun - Dat’s Harmoni.

Harmoni is one of the millions of children growing up through the Covid-19 pandemic. Thankfully, in our technological age, Harm has found online outlets in which she can challenge herself socially and creatively; as her interest in content creation grew through quarantine, my project manager Wesley and I worked closely together to create a brand to represent her through this era of growth in her life.

Bouquets represent her curly Afro hair, firmly rooting her brand in a foundation of black girl magic. We want to encourage Harmoni to grow to her greatest, most authentic potential, so we emphasized her crown and gave her a deck that reads like she is telling the story of her reign. I also assisted our lead copywriter with writing for the deck, and wrote the full poem explaining the brand concept.

To complete the branding project, I also created everything the client would need to implement their new identity on their Youtube channel. This included the channel icon, banners, and a motion graphic to introduce their video uploads. With that, we were able to fully reveal the brand to Harmoni and her family on her birthday, wrapping the project up with a satisfying, sweet bow.
