Hi! I’m Haley.

I am an illustrator and designer with a passion for the visual.

My specialties include digital painting and illustration, with practical skills in design I am always eager to contribute to any project. Since graduating with my B.A. in Art and double minor in Graphic Design and Digital Art and Design, I have gone on to intern with Den of Geek, a pop culture media company, where our team received Honorable Mention at the Folio Eddie and Ozzie Awards for Design Team of the Year for the magazine's SDCC 2018 edition.

I continue my work through a variety of gigs and freelance opportunities, ranging from photography to branding and illustrations. Currently I am working as a graphic and web designer at a small marketing agency, where I have been building UI/UX skills designing for clients’ ecommerce websites as well as our own proprietary software. I have been with this company for over a year now, recently completing two Udemy courses on front-end web development to advance our ability to provide quality services to our clients.

I also explore my character through other creative outlets such as makeup, DIY projects, and yoga, with a lifetime focus on self-improvement and finding balance. I have never really felt like the sort to fit in, but lately I am coming to terms with the fact that I am made to stand out - I’m trying to share that positive energy with the world. Through Halcyon Artistry I document more personal & miscellaneous creative explorations, and through Ink & Illustrator I focus on my fine art and design skills.

Whether there is any truth to our horoscopes and astrology, it’s still fun to know and compare. I don’t fully understand all of the intricacies of my chart, but maybe you’ve learned something.

Some well-known Aries Sun, Taurus Moon people include Elton John, Diana Ross, Quentin Tarantino, and Robert Downey Jr.

Enneagram

Type 9

I actually tied between types 6 and 9, but 9 feels /most/ me. My therapist agrees!

We have called personality type Nine The Peacemaker because no type is more devoted to the quest for internal and external peace for themselves and others. They are typically “spiritual seekers” who have a great yearning for connection with the cosmos, as well as with other people.

The Enneagram Institute notes Jim Henson, Walt Disney, Aubrey Hepburn, and Morgan Freeman as examples.
